I would like to add a list that contains the names in Arabic to my E-mail Marketing lists, but the system doesn't shows the names after they are uploaded or it shows ? markes for the names. (But, if I type the Arabic names in the list manualy as subscribers, it accept that and I can see the arabic names added to the list 1 by 1). So, is there any ways to make the system accept the uploaded Email List with the Arabic words ?
Please make sure that the page has charset set to utf-8. If you have it set to a differnt charset the browser will not be able to handle those characters.
By the way see if you can post the steps you're taking to reproduce this issue.
Thanks for your reply,
I just want to inform you that I'm using a normal CVS excel file when I upload the E-mail Marketing list. and the Arabic names doesn't show up, unless I type them manualy in the system as subscribers. However, here is the screenshots for steps I do when I upload the files.
Finallu, this is how it looks like (????) as question markes sympols.
So, I hope you can help me.
CSV file can't handle double byte chracters. Try using Unicode. See this http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1773#main_Non-English_character_set_i mports
