I have a page that has an image and text.  I can't rotate it - it shows it's rotated after I "rotate document", but when I openi it, it's stil upside down.

You need to actually rotate the pages and save, not just rotate the view. Exactly how you do that depends on which version of Acrobat you have. In Acrobat 9, it's "Document > Rotate Pages". In 10, I it's something like Tools > Pages > Rotate

Hi, thanks for your advice. I think I need a newer version of Acrobat and, hopefully, that will work.

Glad you got it working! I work in Adobe Acrobat Pro X and that is where the Tools-->Pages-->Rotate is located. I had this problem a few weeks ago as well. Cheers!
