ADE and Nook Color question

ADE shows my nook in bookshelves but clicking on the Nook doesn't show any of the books I bought from Barnes and Noble that are already on my Nook.  I saw a post from 2010 saying this was an issue.  Does anyone know if a workaround or update to address this has come out since then?  Any helpful ideas?

    If you loaded ebooks on your Nook from B&N, and not via ADE, they will not

    show up in ADE because they're not registered with your Adobe ID in ADE.

    Only ebooks downloaded into ADE and then transferred to your Nook will show

    up in ADE.

    Content downloaded from B&N is kept in a hidden partion on your Nook, and won't show up in ADE.  (However currently that's for the best anyway since ADE doesn't support (yet) content purchased from B&N).
