in lieu of vcam, can I change stage size between scenes?

I have tried to use two different vcams without success - I should probably place the error dialogs here for somebody to help me troubleshoot; short of that, is it possible to change stage size between scenes, or somehow sequence different scenes w/ different stage sizes into a single movie?

    Have you tried using SWFFit (http://swffit.millermedeiros.com/)?  It is no longer being updated or supported by the original developer; I do believe the latest build is really strong and stable.  I'm not entire sure if it will let you do exactly what you need, but I do know that it's able to change the size of the swf on the fly.
