I have upgraded to Illustrator cs3 because my graphics people
are using it. When I was in Illustrator 10, I could open cs3
created .ai files, but I could not highlight all the text in a text
box. It was almost as if the cs3 .ai file was converted to
outlines.
Now I have cs3 and all the previous files that were "saved
down" to Illustrator 10 from cs3 still have the text that cannot be
highlighted except one word at a time or one letter at a time. Can
I do something to make the text act like text?
