Shipping Required Failure

I have an active shopping cart where I have the checkout button with the "option" True to indicate shipping required.  I just had an item get through without any shipping.  I cannot figure out how that happened.  4 of us here in the office have been trying different computers/browsers trying to "break" this condition with no luck.  Any ideas?

    Try turning off javascript in the browser (easy if you have the web developer tool bar installed in FF) at the checkout page and hit purchase/continue on your site.

     

    Once your on that page enable javascript again and you should be able to go through the process.

    Many thanks, Liam for your help.

    I am reading your answer to mean that if I can "turn off " JS on that checkout page alone, it would be possible for a customer to get their order through without shipping charge.  We have been trying to make it fail unsuccessfully, so I suppose that is the only (sneaky) way a customer could game the checkout.  (Customer didn't sound like a scammer, though.  Sounded like the shipping just didn't work in IE7....)
