How to set the navigation tab to page only (from initial view in doc's properties) in acrobat 10 using Javascript?

 

Please help!

    I would first try using the properties of the PDF and setting the initial view to the "Pages panel and page".

     

    There is no documented method. You could try setting the documents 'pane' property to "T".

     

    this.pane = "T";

    Thanks for your reply, but the 'pane' property is not what I am after.

    There is no way to directly manipulate the "Initial View" with JavaScript.

     

    You can use the Action or Batch Processing feature of Acrobat Professional to set the "Initial View" parameters or there are some 3rd party tools that can alter the initial view.

     

    Debenu PDF-Tools

     

    The name of features is often different in Acrobat JavaScript than in the menus or windows.
