Indesign text wrap question

hello indesigners.
i have made 2 colums of text,and have an elipse which has text wrap applied to it,(wrap around object shape)
and i ger the required result which im after.but i also would like to place some text in front of the text wrap object,
but as the text gets closer it disappears.i know its due to the object having test wrap applied to it.so is there a way around
this issue?
ps:the object has feathering also applied to it.i tried to write the text in photoshop and then import it to indesign.
in order to avoid the text wrap blotting out the text.
