Today Acrobat suddenly stopped working insofar as it just would not start. Looking in the task manager shows it starts then stops.
This is on a Win 7 x64.
Looks like this problem happened because it was part of CS6 Design Standard upgrade and I deactivated and uninstalled the previous version of Design Standard after installing CS6.
Could be something with the way serials work as even when I reinstalled from the original DVD it wouldn't accept the serial number but it did when it started up.
Well today it wouldn't start again so I took the following steps:
While Reader X was installing I quit out of Acrobat X crashed and got the following message:

But this may have been caused by the installation.
This is not really good because it looks to be a problem with activation/serials because it doesn't pick up that CS Design 6 is already activated as it asks me to re-enter my serial.
And now it looks like it is only lasting for a day at a time. I will check again tomorrow.
C'mon Adobe HELP PLEASE!
Found this by an Adobe Staff Member if this other post http://forums.adobe.com/message/4507225#4507225 and it seems to work.
For all the users who have faced a problem where Acrobat did not launch after 30 days of serializing with a suite serial number, please execute the following workaround:
After this if you launch Acrobat it will launch and run forever without trouble. In case you still face a problem , try relaunching the other CS6 app once more and then launch Acrobat.
Feel free to send me a private message if you need any more help with this.
