I'm in South Africa and about a month ago activated the Trial version of Adobe Creative Cloud's Flash Professional with the expectation of subscribing once the trial expired...
... just to discover that Creative Cloud is not available in my country. What!? Most other cloud services are available here! Adobe standalone software can be purchased here. Adobe has a corporate presence here.
Why did the Creative Cloud's IP geo-location not prevent download and installation to South Africa like it prevented me from subscribing?
Now I'm in the middle of a project which was initiated based on my (obviously wrong) understanding that Adob'es Creative Cloud is world-wide.
Speaking to Adobe reps in South Africa yields the same reply as elsewhere on this forum: "Create Cloud is planned for South Africa but there's no date."
This is the first time I've been able to use Adobe's products due to previous inhibitive pricing. My business model now depends on it. Now I'm stuck, potentially productive hours and days slipping by without solution.
At this point it's not good enough for Adobe to give vague answers. We are people running businesses dependent on Adobe products.
Please, I need to know why the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription is not available in South Africa right now.
