Extension Manager update fails

This fails every time the Adobe updater tries to install updates. The error log I get says this:

Adobe Extension Manager CS6 Update

Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

 

Any help fixing this is appreciated!

    How are you applying the update?  Are you using CS6 or the Creative Cloud?  What operating system are you using?

    Conmolbry please try downloading and applying the update manually.  You can find more details at Error U44M1P7 | Install updates | CCM, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-upda tes-ccm.html.

    Conmolbry can you please check the version of the Adobe Application Manager you are utilizing?  You can locate it in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/core.

    I am having the exact same problem and error code.  What version of Adobe App Manager should I be utilizing?  I'm on a Mac, with Lion fully updated.

    6.2.38 or 6.2.77 should resolve these difficulties.

    What is your workflow for applying the update Conmolbry?  Are you trying to apply the update directly from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ or are you having the Adobe Application Manager download and apply the update?


    Also if you update to 6.2.77 version of the Adobe Application Manager in the bottom right hand corner of http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ do you still experience the same difficulties?
