You could open the folder and use Crtl A to choose all then apply the same keyword to all.

I currently have more folders than i would prefer to deal with manually which is why i was hoping for an automated feature like described. Thanks for your input though.

Unfortunately I have never used javascript and so find it hard to figure out how i could tailor that code to my own needs. I woul like to add each folder in the hierarchy as a keyword. Any ideas how this might be achieved?

The script will add the folder name directly to the documents, it will not add to keyword hierarchy.

Hello. I very much appreciate the help but this script adds the filename and not the folder names to the keywords. I am slightly confused as to why someone would want to add the filename to the keywords since it is already contained in the filename....

Anyway, any ideas as to how i could fiddle with this 'till it does what I wan't?
