Then place the text in a movieclip if that's all you can flip. Otherwise, show the code you are trying that is not working... it can work with a textfield, although you'll have more control options for a movieclip containing text.
Thank you for your patience. I am doing an arabic virtual keyboard, and when I flip the text field, it flips and the letter I type into the text field, flips too.
So the answer really is to find a way to flip in advance all my arabic letters and then use them in the script. I tried Word 2010, photoshop, I surfed the web, and iI can not flip horizontally arabic letters. Any other letter is fine.
I would like this guy ق look the other way by fliping it horizontally. Then I will copy it and use it in my script. Anyway you earned your points for trying to help. Thank you. This is going to be my battle. Only death will stop me finding the solution.
The TLFTextfield is supposed to be made for supporting RTL (right to left) text if that is what you are trying to accomplish. I have no experience with it, so the best I caqn suggest is to search Google using "AS3 TLFTextfield RTL text"
