Resizing ainimation with the bone tool

Hello,

I have tried searching everywhere for the answer to how you resize animation that is using the bone tool. I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere!
I am using Flash CS5. My character is made up of graphic symbols and has had the bone tool applied to it and has been animated accordingly. I now want to resize the whole character, but when I try, all of the seperate symbols split apart instead of the whole character resizing as a whole.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I did have a look at this link- thankyou for your help! The work around I've looked at for this problem is putting my armatured characters inside another symbol- and then being able to resize that symbol.
