My .swf files are not loading to 100% and get stuck somewhere between 80%-99%. This is a 15 module training with file sizes from 5MB up to 30MB adn all of them are doing this, even if I cut them down to 2MB. I can open them from a folder on my PC without any issues, but if I take the .swf's on a flash drive to someone else's computer, email it, or try to run it in our LMS, it wont' load to 100%. I can also open the .htm files without any issues.
Could it be a security setting conflict?
I've created another training recently and it loads fine in the LMS and is a 25MB. The LMS is a low budget one called PlantView. That's what makes me think my entire training became corrupted. Recreating it is not an option as it's months and months of work.
I can open these .swf's from the folder on my PC, just not from the LMS. they load to 80% up to 99% on some, but won't load to 100%.
It's possible they are ALL corrupted, but I wouldn't know how that happened. If they are corrupted, does anyone know what is happening during the final phase of loading a .swf and what could be corrupted so I could possibly fix it? OR does anyone know what's going on?
Try running the same courses from SCORM Cloud online LMS. If there's anything wrong with your content, the error messages on that site should tell you. If SCORM Cloud can run it, go back to the LMS vendor and start asking questions.
Thank you RodWard! That is a great site. I will be using that. My files uploaded and played fine there. I had to copy/paste my files into a new file to make them work here. Something was keeping them from loading, but that fixed it.
I always appreciate your input :-)
