I'm continuing to work on a website: http://www.hotbed.com/
I'm having issues with one of the featured images on the bottom of the main (index) page. Mainly I'm just trying to replace one with a new piece of work but I'm having issues syncing from the local to the remote site. I'm not sure why.
Here is what the project looks like in Dreamweaver 10 (the bit of code pertaining to the image is highlighted. The image has the red circle around it):
When I preview this page in Safari, it seems to be working fine:
However, after trying to synce the local and remote sites, the image does not show up...in fact, the text hasn't even changed from the previous project that was in that spot:
I'm not really sure why this is happening considering I've never had this problem before (especially when it's come to the text not updating). I went ahead and cleaned up the folder where I'm keeping all of the images and re-synced them so I don't think that could be the issue...but who knows. Am I overlooking a punctuation error somewhere or is it something else?
Any thoughts would be great appreciated! Thanks!
First off, thanks for replying. Second, I'm not sure why there are tags and tables hahaha. I didn't build the site, I'm just trying to update it And I'm just beginning to understand code - so go easy on me haha. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it, please let me know
Anyway, pertaining to your first question. Here's what the code looks like when I open the page from the remote server:
And here it is when I open it from the local site
(This is what you were asking right? haha) If you need anymore info, please let me know!
Are you responsible for this code?

especially, the contents shown in bold?
Anyhow, this is the image that is not being found by the browser (production-company/images/jason-behr-happily-even-after.jpg), not the one you show in your first post (presumably levis-denim.jpg). So I'm a little confused.
Actually, that's the code I'm trying to replace! That image and code is what was previously in the spot I'm trying to put the Levi's project. That image that is not being found was deleted because it's not longer needed (I also thought that maybe, somehow, it was conflicting with the Levi's image). In the "index" file I'm working in, that Happily Even After code is not longer there...but it's on the live site's source code.
Currently, I'm going through my DW project to see if perhaps I'm somehow tageting a different "index" page than the one I have revised. So far, I haven't been able to find one, but I'll update this with that info if I do.
I have. I even deleted the page off of the remote and put it back up via the local and resynced I found another index page on the remote (that wasn't on the local) and worked with that one as well with no luck....I'm going to keep fiddling with them though.
Make a trivial change to the page that you will be able to see on the live one (I usually add a period to the end of the title). Upload the changed page after saving it. Browse to the page. Do you see the change? I suspect you are uploading to the wrong directory....
That's what we figured was wrong with it. After fighting with the cache and little bit more fiddling, I got it to work Turns out it was because of that index file that was located in my remote server but not my local. Everything seems to be working now! Thanks for your help!
