Code for when someone is accessing site via mobile device

Jul 25, 2012 12:48 PM

I was wondering if there is code, or something I can do in Muse in order to get my website to recognize when a person is accessing the site via a mobile device.  I have an edge animation on my home page.  Unfortunately it is not responding properly on iOS (possibly all mobile devices), so I was thinking about creating one that is simpler for mobile devices, but don't want to loose the more complex one for the general public.  Is there a way to reference two different files based on the device being used to access my website?  (I hope this makes sense).

    Hi,

Within Muse we don't have that option, I recommend that you add that to the ideas section over here, http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas

Sounds to me like you need a script that you can insert in the edge project and not in Muse file to detect the medium being used for viewing. You may try to find a third party JS for that, I'm sure Google can help.
