one answer MC question slides (Advanced answer options and quiz pool)

Hello Everyone,

I was trying to tweak between question slides in the flimstrips and the question slides in the quiz pool...

There is one thing I find it strong ...

 

in the flimstrips, if i have a mc single answer slide, I can set the advanced answer option to jump to slide XY...

however, in the question slides in the pool, this option seems doesnt work, only the comments show. but no actions happen.

 

just wonder if anyone experience the same thing as me?

    Bit difficult to explain, but I find this a bit logical: how can CP know at which place the question slide from the pool will be inserted, and how can a navigation to a specific slide then be set up? If you would be able to setup 'Jump to slide 50' and the question is inserted in a file with less than 50 slides, what should happen?

    In my porject, Question Slides are all together in the final area.

    and I place the review slides just between my cutomized quiz result slide and the system quiz result slides...

    every review slides has a return to last visited slide button.

     

    What I find it not logical is that if CP since i have assign the advanced question option a solid page number. why it can't jump to one or another... since the number of questions inserted in the flimstrips are a solid number( eg. 10 random question...) and the review slides is not between one slide or another....

     

    so should it just jump to which ever slide I point to?

    otherwise it is not logical to me...

    Sorry, tried to explain my logic, but it seems to be different from yours. Perhaps another try: in a question pool, an 'absolute' navigation would be to another question in that pool. But that other question will not be inserted when you insert a random question from the pool into a normal Captivate file. Perhaps the developers could find a way to have a 'relative' navigation (3 slides ahead, backwards) but for the moment that is not available.
