Recently acquired a 3Tb Seagate GoFlex network drive (mapped as Z:) which is working beautifully with my other applications. However, my Photoshop Elements 9 does not even discover it in the folder display.
In fact, it seems "frozen" in past configuration (e.g., still has a greyed out Drive L: for an old external drive no longer attached.). Documentation I found on Adobe's site states that I should be able to read an external network drive though I need to make certain the catalog is on a local drive (which I am doing). Any thoughts on how I might be able to access my network drive Z:? TIA! ![]()
Try using a UNC path, rather than a drive letter, to refer to the networked drive as mentioned in this FAQ:

This did get me started in the right direction, but I still have the issue of PSE not "seeing" the shared drive (whether is be UNC or drive letter). Strangely enough, the resolution was a combination of both. I discovered that by doing a file import by folder did display my network drive letter, and so I simply imported one of the files via that method. Once done, my shared network folder then appeared in the listing of folders under "Network" as a UNC listing, and I was then able to access the remainder of the files and folders my usual way.
Thanks for the assist!! ![]()
