Customer changes

Jul 26, 2012 4:59 AM

Hello, is it possible that costumers can make simple text changes in their site.

When my work is done for making a website...and a customer wil change his news, a few words..

is this possible when the site is made in muse?

Maybe with a tool or with changing the .html??

    Hi,

Currently this feature is not available with Muse as muse designs web sites locally and what you require is changes on the server directly so that they are reflected on the live site.

This feature is available for business catalyst web sites, so if you are publishing to BC you can use it. For more information on features offered by BC refer to this page, http://www.businesscatalyst.com/product-tour/overview

Maurya. Are you referring to incontext editing? Does Muse designed site hosted on BC enjoy incontext editing feature?

    Hi,

That option is disabled by default, because changing the output of Muse is not a supported workflow as the changes are not reflected back in Muse file. But if you know what you are doing then you can enable that feature from the Admin Panel -> My details on the top right corner. This is a user specific setting not site specific.
