Good afternoon,
The company I work for has recently been upgrading our machines to Windows 7 machines from Windows XP, with that we've moved from Adobe Acrobat 7 to Adobe Acrobat X, and we've had to replace our older printers with HP Laserjet M1212nf printers. Initially users could place a document on the feeder and click Create PDF > From Scanner> Black and White document, and the printer would pull in the document and scan it. Now when they do that the scanner whirs a bit, can hear the wheel spinning, and the scanner does not pull in the document. However if they choose Create PDF> From Scanner> Custom Document, set the device to "Use scanners Native Interface", Scan, and then use HP's interface to dictate the settings, the device then properly scans the document.
It was a good fix for a little while, but now all of the employees are complaining because that is "too time intensive" and need me to find a fix.
HELP?!?!?
So I also was in contact with HP about this issue. And after a bunch of tests we've ruled out the printer as the issue. At one point I tried scannign with Adobe X that was still at 10.0.0 and it scanned properly, but after applying the 10.1.3 patch the scanner went non-responsive again and I'd have to bring up the native interface to scan into Adobe.
Can someone please help me?
