Getting/Changing Widget Item Name

I am creating widgets for a template.  I want each widget to move to a specific location when I add it to the captivate slide.  I have figured out how to change the widgets x and y if I know the "Item Name", however the item name changes everytime you add a widget to the slide.  Is there a way to find and/or change the items name for a widget in Actionscript?

 

code I use in the widget to change its x and y: mainMov.Widget_38.x = 500; mainMov.Widget_38.y = 40;
