Ability to have icons to replace text??

Can we have the ability to use icons in place of text; moreover, without using html.  For instance, if I place a command like "lab color" on my panel, I would rather have an Icon to save space.  Just a wishlist item

 

If I have missed how to do this in the current realase, please educate me

    cant you just use a button with an icon set and set the text to nothing or a space and resize it?

    Configurator 3.1 is already available for download on Adobe Labs. One of new features of this new version is Button icons — In CS6 panels, you can create buttons using your own images. You can have icons for Command, Script, Script file, Action and Popup buttons. Only available for CS6 panels.
