crossdomain.xml not being found

Hi,

For some reason, our SWF file is adding an additional "http" to the path when it looks for crossdomain.xml.

Example:

http://mysite.com/crossdomain.xml is there and properly coded.

However, when IE 8 tried to play a video file, it fails, and when I look at the Network monitor in IE 8, I see that its looking for:

http://mysite.comhttp/crossdomain.xml (note the extra http)

Is this a problem with the SWF file appending the extra "http"? Or server config? Or something else? If anyone had any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated. I've tested and googled for days without any results.

I have worked with crossdomain and it's quirks quite a while but I've never seen this artifact. If your coding is right I would indeed check server config on some .htaccess file with rewrite rules or something.
