Url of site / product for usage in »tell a friend«. How?

Hey all,

 

we tried to use the »tell a friend form« which is already included in the forms in business catalyst. I want to integrate this feature on every page and product but i was not able to find out how i can put the actual url into the form. There is alredy a tag in the standard message field {module_siteurl}) but it only sends the main url and not the url of the actual page.

 

Any Ideas for this?

    no sorry it doesn't. It does fill the form field with the main url / the homepage url but not the direct url to the product or whatever ..

    Sorry, a lot missing there in the post.

    It does it automatically through the URL tag for the product:

     

    {tag_itemurl_withhost}     Full URL of the product including host (e.g http://mysite.com/product-URL)

    Whack that in the input value and your sorted.

    Hey Liam,

     

    thank you once again. Unfortunately somehow it does not work. I put your tag {tag_itemurl_withhost} for testing in the template but it does not get rendered with

    the content. All i get is {tag_itemurl_withhost} as text output ...

    You do not put it in a template, you put it in the product layout.

    Yes, but you do not want to really use it:

    {module_pageaddress}

    This will render the non SEO friendly URL of a given page.

    Yes!

    We can now use {module_pageaddress}

    and get an SEO friendly URL
