Computer Crash

I just purchased Adobe Photpshop Elements in April 2011.  My computer just crashed and I purchased a new one.  How can I transfer Photoshop Elements to my new computer?

    You will need the original disk or if you purchased on-line from the Adobe store go to your account and find your registered products and download link.

    You should also contact Adobe customer support to deactivate the PSE installation that was on your old computer:

    http://helpx.adobe.com/contact/index.html

     

    If an agent is available, you can initiate an online chat session to resolve the activation on the spot.

    My old computer crashed. If it can be recovered I will have photoshop deactivated. Thanks

    Cathy,

     

    The point is that you do not need to recover your old computer in order for Adobe to deactivate the PSE installation on it.  The activation information is stored on Adobe's licensing server.
