Emboss Background in Dreamweaver

Hi Everyone,

Currently I am using CS 6 Dreamweaver and I am trying to figure out how to have an embossed background for a website (or page).

I know about using a slice from Photoshop and applying to the background but the emboss part of the image does not show in Dreamweaver I just get the color.

Do I need to use another application in the CS Cloud Suite to create an embossed image?  I am only familiar with Photoshop, Dreamweaver and a bit of Flash.

I am in the process of learning how the Cloud apps work together.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any effect like that would have to be in the image you are using for the background.  But perhaps I don't understand your question.

Basic HTML-wise, yes. To have an image cover a huge background, it needs to be huge.

CSS-wise, not exactly. You can set a large image to repeat once so it doesn't tile, is positioned exactly where you like and a few other things.

You can also set the image to scale to the browser window with CSS, however it won't work on old browsers...
