applescript - grep

I'm trying to use grep to find , literally,

"\psz"

in the string

"ipsum lorem yada yda \psz 6p% drago indigato blah blah

set find what of find grep preferences to "\psz"

doesn't work. Doesn't compile, nor would I expect it to

set find what of find grep preferences to "\\psz"

doesn't work. Probably something to do with quoting the \\.

used find grep a fair amount, first time I've searched for a \ in a string.

Anyone have any suggestions on this, please?
