Can't Open .pdf Files

File association for .pdf is set to Adobe Acrobat 9.0 but .pdf files won't open. Any ideas please?

How did you get the PDF files? They could be damaged. What happens when you try to open them?

Can you open other PDF files?

Can you open the files from the file menu in Acrobat. That should give you some idea if they are damaged or if it is just an OS problem of the association. When you double click on the PDF, does Acrobat open? If not, you might need to check the link properties for the association.

Hi Steve, thanks for your reply. I have found a solution thanks - applying the file association to a pdf file on the desktop worked where doing it from the control panel didn't. There was some confusion over PDF Complete vs Acrobat 9 Pro, but all is okay now. Thanks for your help,
