Well tried as suggested with SING but sill cannot get it to work...not sure what else to try. Everyother other program in the suite works but not ID...and it just happens to be the one I need today.
Did you try a new user?
Open as a task, but not running on screen used to be a common symptom of ID waiting for input in a dialog that was not showing. It happened a lot when users were running multiple monitors or flatscreens at lower than maximum resolution. Are you doing anything like that?
