Using adobe in safari

Aug 8, 2012 8:00 PM

I am trying to access my bank statement in safari.  It keeps saying I need to open in adobe. I have the app but there is no "open in" button in safari. What am I doing wrong?

You should see a Share button. When you click on it, one of the menu options should be Open With, then select Adobe Reader.

You FIRST have to click on the PDF icon to preview the PDF. THEN you should use the Share icon to open in Reader.

OK, let's go back to your first post:

What EXACTLY is it saying when you go to your bank. "It keeps saying I need to open in adobe." Adobe is a company, not an appliction. I assume you mean Adobe Reader. But usually when they say that, they are posting a link to a PDF file, and usually there is a PDF file which can be downloaded.

If there is no PDF icon, what is there? Can you create a screen capture and include  it in your reply by clicking the "camera icon" in the forum editor.

It looks very inflexible, not at all designed for a mobile device. Unless you can get some better advice from the bank, I don't think you'll be able to read the statement on your device.
