CS6 search for documents on open window dont work on mac

hi,

i use indesign for a while and recently upgraded for cs6 and mac os 10.7

 

theres abaout 25 macs on my work, all with the sema problem

 

search for a document on the open window don't work...

on file > open, indesign opens by default showing "all readeble files", when use the search he dont show anything,

changing for "all documents" he  start to find things

 

It's not a lion problem and dont work on snow leopard too...

 

don't work on bridge or mini bridge as well...

 

and work just fine on cs5 and other apps...

 

if someone has a solution or having the same problem let me know..

    I'm not sure I'm understanding your problem.

     

    You want to search for InDesign files when you're in the Open dialog, right?

     

    By default, InDesign's Open dialog is set to show "All Readable Files"

     

    I'm in Lion on my MacBook Pro in CS6, and this is what happens when I search for "Kerala" in the Search field at the upper right:

    As you can see, I'm not having any problem finding InDesign files in my search for the word "Kerala".

     

    Or, am I misunderstanding what you're having a problem with.

    yes.. thats my problem... the search dont find anything without change "all readeble documents" to "documents" on cs6...

     

    actualy im trying to find in a network afp drive.. but even on local drive he dont find a thing

    Have you tried restoring InDesign's preferences?

     

    Have you tried running InDesign from another user?

     

    Have you tried holding down the Shift key when turning on your computer to disable third-party utilities which may be interfering with InDesign?
