PDF's Defaulting to Photoshop

Aug 9, 2012 7:50 AM

I cannot create PDF's from InDesign - when exporting, they all default to Photoshop. Even my previous files are defaulting to Photoshop. Why? (I never had this problem until I downloaded updates yesterday)

Do you mean that your PDF files are being transformed to Photoshop format, or something else?

I tend to think that your problem, as I understand it, is not related to Adobe Reader, but to InDesign. I therefore suggest that you repost your question in the InDesign forum:

Do you mean all of your PDF files open in Photoshop?  It's a pretty simple thing to change the file associations and go into File Types on windows and change that by simply browsing to the applicaiton you want to open PDF files with by default.  On Mac OS X you can go into the properties of one file and change it for the system too.
