Servers

Aug 9, 2012 11:15 AM

I am using the trial version but before I purchase it on a subscription I need to know the following please: I work in a school and want to create the school websites using Muse. Only thing is that I need to save the files and folders structure onto a drive on our server rather than upload to a server. Is this possible please? All I can find is the option to upload to a URL.

Thanks

Aidan

I think you should be able to upload to an intranet. If that is what you are looking at. If you know th ip. Then export to html option should work for you. Except am missing something

You can build your site in Muse then choose File:Export as HTML... and save the generated HTML/CSS etc to any folder on your computer.

You can then copy those files to your server however you would normally copy a file to that server. If you connect to the server locally you could copy the files using the Finder(mac)/Explorer(windows) or use an FTP client to upload to a remote server.
