DPS and Typekit

Hi,

is it possible to use fonts from typekit in Adobe DPS? If there is a way, how does it work and do i have to use the creative cloud for it?

    None I know of without linking to an actual web page.

     

     

     

    Check your font license and use @font-face in your CSS for local HTML files.

    Bob, I think  the question was if it's possible to use typekit, not a local font.

     

    This is a bit tricky. You could use typekit but you have to be online to display the fonts. Also it will be a bit tricky to set a valid domain in your DPS magazine. So it's basically not a good idea to use typekit on your DPS magazine.

    Which is why I answered the way I did. There is no way I know of to use Typekit fonts locally but wanted to give the poster a way to workaround that and have the fonts work without an internet connection.

    been looking at this today.

    instead of supplying a domain name you put in LocalHost and then 127.0.0.1 for the url.

    That works locally, but then not on the iPad, ...there must be a way!

    There doesn't have to be a way and quite frankly, I'm sure there's not.

     

    Typekit is for websites. Again, if you want to use a font with an HTML article just use @font-face. It works beatifully.

     

    And please, as I already pointed out...check the license first.

    Thanks Bob, I'm using edge animate, so not sure how to use @font-face, but I'll go back to the animate forums, thanks as ever

    It’s part of the CSS file. To be honest I don’t know how that ties in with Edge.
