Stuck on sign-in page

I have downloaded the trail and it takes me to the sign in screen, I put in my ID and password. So why doesnt it log me in? Its stays in thinking mode forever!

Please make sure your software firewall is configured to allow the Adobe Download Assistant to access the Internet. Alternately you can initiate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.
