I have an existing site built with CS3 on a Mac. I've taken over the admin of the site and know nothing of web design/building. Can I use CS6 for a PC with the existing html files used on the site? I am a complete (reluctant) newb, so please excuse all uninformed questions. Thanks.
You will be able to create, edit, etc, etc without any "this file cannot be read by x program" going from CS3 to CS6, going the other way may present some issues however.
I have yet to download cs6 (I wanted to wait for the compatibilty question to be answered) so I am not sure how to define the site. Will it be obvious once I view the tutorial(s)? And the files writtren on the Mac will be able to be manipulated on the PC? Sorry if these questions seem elementary to you. Thanks again.
Before you install the new version, be sure to "Export" all your your current site definitions to a safe place you will remember, and you can then "Import" them into the new version.
