We used to be able to download from Pantone an installer to get the latest colors libraries into our Adobe apps. It look like we can’t get the installer anymore & the by the same fact the new 336 colors from the Series plus recently released.
Here what someone at Pantone told me: «The installer will not be updated with the new colors. Color Manager is the only product that will do that for you. This will enable you to export any/all of the Pantone libraries into your applications.»
But now the question is: Does member of the Creative Cloud will get them as part of a special update? Or users will be forced to buy Color Manager to get them?
Hi Jean-Claude,
I haven't heard of plans around this myself, but agree that this would make a useful addition. I created the following feature request on your behalf here.

Dear Jean-Claude:
By way of introduction, I am John Stanzione, Manager of Technical Support at Pantone. I am happy to assist you.
PANTONE Color Manager is the vehicle that you will use to export the updated PANTONE libraries for use within the Adobe suite. While Adobe CS 6 has been updated for the PANTONE PLUS colors introduced in May 2012, there are an addtional 336 colors that were added this year which are at issue. These are supported in a separate library within the latest release of PANTONE Color Manager.
PANTONE Color Manager is available free of charge to those who purchase and register any of the PANTONE PLUS SERIES color publications. Each publication has a unique serial number which, when registered, becomes the 'activation key' for the PANTONE Color Manager software. At the conclusion of the registration process you will be taken to a page where the PANTONE Color Manager installer can be downloaded. After installing the software, on first launch you re-enter the serial number that was registered to activate the software. For those who choose not to purchase the guides or books, the software can also be purchased separately for US$49.00 per user license.
Pantone has posted the following support articles to assist with the registration and activation process, and also with export of PANTONE libraries from the PANTONE Color Manager software:

Hi John, thanks for jumping into this thread. I was aware of the Pantone solutions to get the new 336 colors. I just think they should be made available without the need to purchases anything like it use to be in the past or at least given to as an update of Creative Cloud and even any owner of Adobe products. But this is probably something Adobe need to figure out with you...
