Adobe® Flash® Player 11.4.400.252 Beta 2 (IE 10 Desktop)

Aug 10, 2012 7:22 PM

Hello Folks,

after having failed in all known methods to uninstall a Flash® Player release I come here asking for any suitable help.

What kind of help?

I'd like to know how to uninstall Flash® Player 11.3.370.178 ActiveX (x86) from Windows 8 CP with ALL "Windows 8 Apps" (formerly known as "Metro style design") disabled, in order to install the 11.4.400.252 Beta 2 release (Active X, for IE 10 Desktop).

No problem at all with the Beta 2 plugin for other browsers than IE.

If someone can give me any word different from "You failed simply because you cant" he'll be welcome.

Regards.

John

With IE10/Win8 the Flash Player will be delivered by Windows/Microsoft Updates.

Just to be clear, this holds for Win8 RTM, too?  Meaning that the v11.3.372.94 of the ActiveX Flash in Win8 will not be updated until MS decides to push it via WU?

Yes, it will be only updated via Windows/Microsoft Updates.
