The basics of any Link Creation is as follows:
1) Select the text which will form the visible text for that link by dragging the mouse over it;
2) Enter the URL in the "Link" field of the PROPERTIES panel (see the picture below - click on iot to magnify it), and press the ENTER key (or the RETURN key on the Mac) on your keyboard.
NO you don't have to link them from the index page. Links can be created on any page provided you have a structure of your website in place.
Good luck.
first of all thanx a lot for your reply but i might said the wrong question and i like to explain more: i did index, about us,conatct us,gallery pages but need to link them togather thats mean i want to press gallery button in menu bar so i can see gallery page and do the same for the rest of the pages...thank you very much
Have you got an example for us to see? It should be simple but we need to see what you are trying to do.
The gallery is to display your photos right? There are lots of examples on the web ; perhaps you could Google for them and download the necessary files and follow their tutorials.
Good luck.

Now we see your navigation bar
Follow the instructions from Mytaxsite above on ALL your pages to make each item in your nav bar link to the proper target page
Notice the small folder icon to the right of the red outlined picture he posted.
Select the text you wish to link, then click on the small folder icon and a window showing all your pages will appear.
Select the page you wish to link to and do the same to link the other pages.
Repeat this on all the pages in your site.

DW offers another way to link your navigation text to the page you want.
If you select your nav bar text and then click the small circle under the blue arrow,
where you can POINT TO FILE to select the page
Yes, that is correct. then you could
A. Repeat the process on all the pages, or if you are comfortable in CODE view,
B copy the nav bar code from the home page, and replace the nav bar code on all the other pages.
This is an ideal application for using Server Side Includes which allows you to paste the nav bar code
into one separate "include" file, and put a tiny bit of PHP code in all your pages to replace the nav bar code.
This may be more to learn but it allows you to make any future changes to the nav bar
In ONLY ONE FiLE and it will appear on all pages without further work on the pages.
