Printing 11x17 too light

I am printing a 11x17 copy of a document which is originally 22" x 34".  I am only using greyscale setting and printing to a network Konica Minolta.  The dimension lines on the 11x17 copy are too light while the main object is a nice dark shade.  The document I am trying to print is an engineering drawing.  Please advise.
