CS6 "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened." Just got the production bundle and installed everything on both my macs, everything works fine besdies illustrator which only works fine on one not at all on the other. I've tried everything I've found on the forums here to my knowledge and no success. I just spent 2 hours on call waiting with adobe support and no one picked up. Extremely frustrated, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey eldriario -

I just ran into this myself. I ran the shell script from this adobe help doc (link below) one time, quit Illustrator, repaired permissions, rebooted and was then able to launch normally.

Mind you, I would not be the least bit surprised if the error returns again tomorrow, but for now this seems to be working.

Best of luck, and hope this helps.
