Would uninstalling Adobe Design Premium help speed up PC?

My computer is too slow. I thought of uninstalling Adobe Design Premium CS5 and reinstall only Photoshop which I use the most. Will it help speed up my Windows 7, 64 bit system? Thank you.

How would that have any influence? Programs that are not active don't consume any system resources beyond the harddrive space they are installed on. Your system won't be any faster just because you remove some inert data....

If your computer has suddenly become very slow even when you are not doing anything that should tax your system then it is time so look at virii and spyware.

Outside of any malware or virus you may want to try using msconfig.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSConfig

Then disable services and startup programs till you find the offending app.

(Just make sure to do not turn off any Microsoft services)

The beauty of this is that you can put something back easily if something does not work right after you do it.
