Adobe will be performing extensive maintenance on the Activation Service beginning Monday, August 27, at 10:30 pm PDT (Tuesday, August 28, at 1:30 am EDT). The entire service maintenance will take approximately six hours.
During that time new users who have not previously activated Digital Editions or reading devices will not be able to activate. However, our expectation is that users who have previously activated Digital Editions or devices will be able continue doing so during the maintenance window.
We do not anticipate book fulfillment to be affected by this maintenance; i.e., users will be able to continue to purchase and read books during this time.
It would be advisable to plan to activate any new installation of Digital Editions or any reading devices before the maintenance window, or to plan on waiting until after the window.
