What is "ShellExtLoader" ?

I'm trying to install Elements 10 & it tells me to close "ShellExtLoader" to be able to continue the install. I don't know what this is & can't find it anywhere.

So I'm stuck - it won't install. Please can someone help me ?

    Task Manager/ Activity Monitor --> Processes --> Find the process name --> Right-click --> End process

    There is no "ShellExtLoader" in the list of the Activity Monitor on my MacBook Pro.

    Where else can I look for it.

    well i finally found an answer..

    i chatted with someone from Adobe & they didn't know how to help me..

    i googled "ShellExtLoader" & found out it happens a lot to people downloading Adobe stuff

    for me it was closing "SugarSync" before downloading Elements 10

    my download & installation was perfect..

    i should get 10 points for giving the correct answer..
