We are new to digital publishing. We have set up a folio to view in both portrait and landscape views.
Our InDesign files have the _v and _h suffix attached to them. Each article previews fine through the InDesign desktop viewer.
When we upload the folio file it does not view in the Content Viewer on the iPad.
If we set up single orientation folios, one portrait and one landscape, they each view fine on the iPad.
We have tried it a number of times and definitely have both orientations checked when we create the folio but it does not view on the iPad, only single orientation folios seem to work.
Can someone help us?
Take a look at this article : http://blogs.adobe.com/indesigndocs/2012/07/structuring-files-for-dps. html
Also login to your Folio Producer, click on open, check if you can see the articles or is there any kind of error message there.
Thanks Himanshu,
I set up the files according to the article and was able to view the folio in the content viewer on the iPad.
One problem though, in the portrait view everything is fine, but when we turn the Pad and view in landscape some text and images are missing on two pages (the piece is three pages).
See attached example.
I don't know why one view would work and not the other.
Any suggestions?
