I'm trying to create a fillable PDF form, but right now the checkboxes are set up as textboxes so I have to delete them and add new fields. I'm trying to figure out why Acrobat X Pro freezes up every time I go to add a new checkbox and I have to force quit it.
It's the latest version of Acrobat. I just installed it for the first time last week, so it came with CS6 Design Standard. Version 10.1.1.
Here's the steps:
- Open the PDF in Acrobat.
- Click Forms. Edit form fields.
- Click the checkbox form and it turns my cursor into a new field that's a checkbox.
- Let go of the cursor and it freezes.
- Force quit the application.
I've done this probably five or so times now, and it was doing it the other day too. I've tried uninstalling and redownloading Acrobat, but it doesn't seem to matter. It's still happening when I try to edit form fields.
