Can keystroke commands be turned off?

I'm not that good at typing and when I make a mistake in Photoshop CS6, suddenly find myself in a strange place from which I often don't know how to return from. I use about twenty keysroke commands, but there are so many others I don't use and which cause me problems.

Is there someplace on CS6 to turn off those commands I never use?

Yes you can turn off a majority of the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop (Edit)>Keyboard Shortcuts.

Like R_Kelly mentioned not all keyboard shortcuts can be edited (easily).

Which commands in particular cause issues for you? Single Key Shortcuts or combined ones?

Thanks. I had remembered this control from earlier Photoshops, but couldn't remember where it was.

I turned off about 80% of the commands I never use.
