I apologize if this has been answered in the forums. I scoured them (and the web) and never found my answer. I tried a few different options online and none seemed to work. I am coding my first more advanced website.
Simply put, I am using php to bring back info from a sql database that brings back and image, and some text.
The image is floated to the left so the <p> text floats on the right of it.
Text wraps beautifully until the image on the left ends, at which point the text starts wrapping under the image.
What is the CSS trick to stop this? I tried "nowrap" which doesn't work because I do want to the text to wrap until the end of the picture.
Thanks for the input in advance! Below is core of HTML and CSS.
HTML:
<div class="article">
<a href="#"><img src="images/img4.png" width="139" height="133" alt="desc here"/></a>
<p>This is the text that I don't want to wrap under the image in the event the text extends past 133 pixels down the page which it often does</p>
CSS:
.article img {float:left;}
