Fireworks incomplete or damaged?

I have downloaded Fireworks as part on creative cloud and it has not installed. In my app folder when I click on the icon it says Fireworks is either incomplete or damaged.  I am running a mac with Mountain Lion.  I have tried to download it but the download manager says it is already installed.  any help would be great ty

    Please try removing Fireworks using the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  Once removed you can try the installation again.
